Utility Wash
Beardbrand Utility Wash has been created as a simple and versatile cleanser for beard, hair, face, and body that gently dislodges dirt and debris without disrupting your body’s natural chemistry. These suds are formulated with no harsh sulfates — just coconut-derived cleansers that are gentle enough for your beard, hair, and face, but strong enough to wash where the sun doesn’t shine. Simplify your shower and bask in your newfound sophistication.
Available in the following epic scents:
- Tree Ranger is a potent eucalyptus blend that will have you smelling like you just hiked through a Pacific Northwest forest. In fact, people may be wondering why your face was hugging a tree. You shouldn't leave for your next camping trip, or anywhere for that matter, without this blend in your bag.
- Temple Smoke is a mystical blend inspired by the rich fragrance of oud incense. It has deep and warm layers with an earthy, smoky undertone. The complementary notes of palo santo, frankincense, and patchouli create a rich and long-lasting blend. This resinous and smoky fragrance is perfect for a temple retreat or hastily retreating from a temple.
- Old Money —Breathe deep—that's the smell of Old Money. With 23 fragrance notes—including aged oak, amber, and ylang ylang—this is a rich and complex scent that evolves throughout the day. As a fragrance, Old Money is right at home surrounded by rich mahogany, your favorite worn leather chair, a glass of whiskey, and a cigar.
If you have trouble running your fingers, comb, or brush through your beard, that means your whiskers are tangled. If not addressed, those tangles can cause split ends and breakage, which contributes to your beard feeling like steel wool. Utility Softener helps untangle the mess, returning your beard to the land of the well-groomed and making it easier to style. The benefits don’t stop at having a softer, more touchable, and easier to style beard.
Battle scars proudly shown
Growth doesn't come easily. There are setbacks, defeats, and valuable lessons along the way. Every bump, bruise, scar, broken bone, and broken heart tells a story and should be worn with pride. That same philosophy applies to Beardbrand packaging. Your aluminum bottles and jars will dent and get dinged up along the way. Beardbrand see it as a reminder to not hide from our scars and imperfections—but to embrace them. Please be mindful of this when ordering.
Use: Can be used as a beard wash, hair wash or face/body wash - hence the term "utility":
- Beard Wash: Apply a coin-sized amount of Utility Wash to your beard and work it into the skin beneath your beard. Bask in the awesome fragrance under your nose while letting it soak in. Rinse. Don’t repeat. Follow-up with matching Utility Softener to condition and hydrate beard hair.
- Hair Wash: Apply a nickel-sized amount of Utility Wash to your hair and gently massage it into your scalp. Let it soak in to allow the gentle surfactants to dislodge dirt and debris from your hair. Rinse. Don’t repeat. Follow-up with matching Utility Softener to condition and hydrate hair.
- Face / Body Wash: Apply Utility Wash to a washcloth, sponge, loofah, or your hands (you animal!) and scrub yourself clean.
Utility Softener pairs perfectly with Beardbrand Utility Softener.
How Often Should You Wash Your Beard and Hair?
When it comes to washing your beard and hair, less is more. Beardbrand generally recommend two to three times per week, but other factors might change the wash frequency depending on your skin type and where you live. Men with oily skin or who live in humid, wet climates can wash more frequently. Men with dryer skin and who live in dry, arid climates should wash less often. Thick curly hair is typically dryer and would benefit from less washing. Straight or patchy beards can handle more frequent washing. If you work a job where you’re exposed to dirt — well, do what ya gotta do to keep it clean. Fortunately, Beardbrand Utility Wash is gentle enough for daily use.
