A note about natural deodorants: Beardbrand Deodorant is not an antiperspirant. Antiperspirants work by clogging your pores so sweat can't escape. Unnatural, right? Beardbrand Deodorant won't prevent your body from doing its natural thing. It will neutralize the odor-causing bacteria found in sweat and leave your pits smelling awesome. If you've been using an antiperspirant, your body will need time to adjust. Since you're no longer gunking up your sweat glands, you may experience some slight sweat chafing, and an increase in more-pungent-than-usual underarm wetness as your body creates a healthy microbiome under your arms. This is natural and typically only lasts two to three weeks. Don't worry—you've already adjusted to the new normal, and your pits will too.
