Get a Mo on this Movember!

Get a Mo on this Movember!

Whether you’re a seasoned mo grower or new to the game, there’s no better time to grow a moustache than Movember.

It’s more than just facial hair – it’s about starting conversations, supporting men’s health, and having a bit of fun along the way.

So, What Is Movember All About?

Movember started back in 2003 when two Aussie mates joked over a beer about bringing the moustache back into fashion. What began as a laugh quickly turned into something much bigger.

Inspired by a friend’s mum who was fundraising for breast cancer, they created the first Movember rule book and convinced 30 blokes to grow a moustache for a $10 donation.

Fast forward to today, and Movember has become a global movement with over 5 million supporters worldwide. It has raised huge amounts of money and, more importantly, sparked billions of conversations around men’s health.

The Mission

By 2030, Movember’s ambition is to:

  • Halve the number of deaths from prostate and testicular cancer
  • Reduce the rate of male suicide by 25%
  • Halve the number of men experiencing serious mental and physical side effects from prostate or testicular cancer treatment

Big goals – and every mo helps.

Become a Mo Sister

Ladies, growing a mo might be a stretch (but hey – we won’t judge if you try).

You can still get behind the cause by supporting the men in your life or signing up to raise funds yourself. Some popular ways to get involved include:

Make Your Move

Challenge yourself (and others) to walk or run 60 kilometres over November – representing the 60 men we lose to suicide every hour around the world.

Host a Mo‑ment

Morning teas, costume parties, movie nights, quiz nights – anything that brings people together and starts conversations around men’s health. And why not throw in some Boob Butter for prizes while you’re at it? (You saw what we did there.)

Get Behind the Cause

Movember is about more than growing facial hair – it’s about showing up, starting conversations, and supporting men’s health in meaningful ways.
